Year 5 / 6 - Welcome Meetings

A New Approach to Our Welcome Meetings

This year, we are introducing a new format for our start of year meetings to give families more opportunities to connect with the team around their child and with other families in the class.

The session will begin with the children sharing how well they have settled, singing a song and showing you a piece of work they are proud of. Afterwards, children will enjoy an activity with senior staff while parents and carers meet with the class team.

This informal session gives families the chance to ask questions, share thoughts, find out about the curriculum, trips and key information, and get to know other parents and carers in the class community.

We hope this new approach helps us start the year together, building strong relationships that support every child to thrive.

The meetings will start promptly at the following times:

6S - Monday 14th September: 2:30 - 3:05pm

6H - Tuesday 15th September: 2:30 - 3:05pm
6N - Wednesday 16th September: 1:40 - 2:15pm
6Q - Thursday 17th September: 2:30 - 3:05pm
6L - Friday 18th September: : 2:30 - 3:05pm

Year 5 meetings start promptly at 09:00 and finish at 09:45:

5W - Monday 14th September
5M - Tuesday 15th September
5B - Wednesday 16th September
5Z - Thursday 17th September
5F - Friday 18th September
